My dear friend Casey and I met about the time our oldest babies were one. We learned at that first meeting that we both had a passion for photography and ever since have taken pictures of each other’s family each year. It has turned into one crazy evening where we all get ready, swap picture taking and then go out to eat all together. It is a bit stressful but we (and our children!) look forward to it each year! This sweet greenway boardwalk is magical and I love how these images turned out!

In early October, my sweet niece turned 6 months old and we decided to do her pictures at Pullen Park with mommy! I loved the coordinating yellow and that sweet smile!
Our friend decided to unconventionally celebrate the passing of his 40th birthday. 🙂 As a huge Cardinal baseball fan, the baseball field was the logical place for our session and a bat was the logical instrument for smashing the cake! A little messy but lots of fun!
