Oh, my poor neglected blog! 🙂 As we are winding up fall and heading into the winter season let’s have a throwback to summer time! Love this family so much and so thankful for them. It was time for some family pictures before a bunch of BIG events in their family. Life keeps on changing – so thankful we can freeze time in a photograph.

We were *overdue* for updated pictures of my niece and nephew (we usually do birthday pictures in March). So, the pictures finally happened right before Memorial Day and I love that mom dressed them in patriotic clothes. They did so well despite the incredible heat and the killer mosquitoes we had that day! Can’t believe how fast they are growing!!

My newest nephew arrived this past April and I was excited to take some newborn pictures of him. Only problem was that my sis-in-law and bro-in-law live in Maryland and with my own 4 month old it was going to be a challenge. However, my family decided to go visit the grandparents for a week at the end of April so I could have some extra hands while my husband went out of town on a business trip. Our trip was planned for about 2 weeks after this little guy’s due date. So I prayed and prayed that he would come either on or after his due date so that I could capture those first pictures of him. 🙂 Thankfully (although not so much fun for my sis-in-law) he arrived past his due date, just a few days before our arrival! And although we struggled at the beginning of the session to get him comfy, once we did we were able to get some of the sweetest pictures. Congratulation S&C! He is perfect!
First birthday time for Mr. C!! It seemed like the time just flew by! I couldn’t believe how big he had gotten – crawling like crazy and on the verge of walking/running away! Mom brought his adorable Easter outfit for the occasion and we had gorgeous early spring light. Happy Birthday, buddy! See you in a few months for 18 month pictures!
This sweet family was gathering all together for Christmas and wanted to get some updated family shots. I recommended my new favorite spot for pictures and we had a lovely December evening together! They even brought their new puppy to get in on some of the pictures and she did so well!
