This session was definitely one of my favorites! Not only is mom-to-be GORGEOUS but she had a good vision of what she wanted her session to be like. And then we had a beautiful evening on top of everything. These two are expecting their very first son (now set to arrive in just a few days!) and their excitement and joy just permeated. Their sweet son is already so loved! Congratulations J&R! Can’t wait to meet your baby boy in a few days!!

This little girl has been on my baby plan and it has been so fun to watch her grow these past 2 years! It really is a treasure to have images that document each baby milestone. Needless to say though, I am sad that I won’t be photographing her as regularly anymore! We did these pictures a little bit after her official 2 year birthday and I think that was a good idea. Not only did we have beautiful morning light but we had the gorgeous spring flowers popping up around us to use as our backdrop. You are a sweetheart, Miss L! Can’t believe you are just about 2 1/2 now!

This little family is the sweetest. And I was so excited when they announced they were pregnant again. And then how perfect to find out that they were adding a sweet GIRL to their mix! She took her sweet time arriving and putting momma through a good bit of discomfort but now she is here and is perfect and beautiful! But I loved that they wanted to capture the “waiting” period for their sweet princess and their time as still a family of 3. And how gorgeous is momma?!?! Congratulations, C Family!

Wow, this poor blog has been SUPER neglected this year! 2014 has been a whirlwind of a year as well. I took the first few months off from photography just to refresh and then when I was ready to get back into the swing of things we found out we are expecting baby #3! Needless to say, 1st trimester (and even 2nd trimester) took me out! So, now that I am feeling a bit more like myself I am going to catch the blog up and bring it current. 🙂

We will start with this family who needed pictures in the early spring for an updated family picture, 2 year pictures for little man and 5 year pictures for older sister. So, we set out one afternoon to a cute spot in their neighborhood. Everything seemed like it would go well – weather held out, naps had been had, and snacks were in the bellies. Unfortunately, little man wanted nothing to do with pictures. We got a few that you would never guess he was a crank which is all we needed. 🙂 Thanks, C Family!
I squeezed these guys in right before Christmas and so glad that I got to photograph them! They were fun and easy and what a cute pup! Apparently “Bones” was the baby of the family and well loved. 🙂 Enjoy your pictures, J Family!
