Easter Baby | Apex Child Photographer

This adorable little guy is my one and only nephew.  🙂  He turned one right before Easter so Mom broke out the Easter outfits for pictures – including big sister’s (Oh, she turned 4 earlier in the month too!).  We had a beautiful afternoon for some posed shots out in the grass of their backyard.  Then inside we went to see what Mr. T would do with a cupcake.  🙂  We learned quickly that he was not a fan of icing and our little smash session resulted in some screams and tears but not before getting some sweet and fun shots.  Happy Birthday, Handsome!  Can not believe you are ONE!

Sweet Baby Girl | Apex Child Photographer

It is so hard to believe that Miss L is a year.  Where did the time go??  Feels like yesterday that I was taking her newborn pictures!  But she is one and that calls for some more pictures.  🙂  Mom had done a white bed set-up with her first two children at certain ages and so we have continued that tradition for Miss L.  And then, of course, some regular birthday shots to show off the personality of this little girl!  She is just a doll baby and I love her sweet grin.  🙂  Enjoy P Family!

Grandma Time | Apex Family Photographer

This sweet extended family contacted me before Christmas to get pictures done while Grandma, Aunt and Uncle were in town for the holidays.  Unfortunately, bad weather and then sickness prevented us from getting the session done at Christmas.  But the family came back around in early February and we had a crisp and sunny afternoon to take pictures.  Extended families can be tricky but *most* everyone cooperated and we got the job done!  These pictures were done as a birthday present for Grandma so she could have pictures with and of her grandchildren.  SO thankful that we got all the kids with her in one picture.  Was not sure little Miss R was going to let go of Mommy or Daddy in order to be in the picture.  🙂  Enjoy O Family!

Hearts & Pearls | Apex Children Photographer

I cannot believe that this sweet little thing is already 6 months old!  Oh, how time flies!  Her mommy and I had a fun time in my “studio” glamming her up in hearts, bows and pearls.  🙂  Had a very hard time just picking a few to share – such a sweet sweet session!

Sweet Lullabys | Durham Newborn Photographer

When I got to meet this sweet little family, mom & dad were just over the moon with their new little guy.  They just couldn’t get over how blessed they were to have him in their lives.  It was sweet to watch them cuddle him, play the guitar for him and just stroke his beautiful blonde hair.  I had such a nice afternoon hanging out with this new little family and capturing this precious time in their lives.  I look forward to hearing how they are adjusting to their new life as a family of 3!!

PS – Trying something a bit new with my images.  I like that you can see the whole image without scrolling back and forth.  What do you think???
