After a few months of hibernation, I dusted off the camera the other week to photograph one of my favorite families! So glad we could do our annual session and had a beautiful summer evening for it. 🙂
This family wanted a rustic vibe – barns, fences, etc – for their session. I had never ventured to Sugg Farm down in Holly Springs but I am so glad we did! There is a lot of wide open spaces there which aren’t always the greatest but we found some really sweet tucked away spots and even an old barn!
My sweet friend and I did it again! We survived our family picture swap night. We were both feeling very minimal in style this year – even more than usual! So we decided to do “photo booth” style pictures in front of a cool wall. The original wall we wanted to use was blocked by a big truck when we arrived but we improvised and I love the pop of white! Love this beautiful friend of mine and her adorable family! Despite the hassle of getting everyone ready for pictures, we do look forward to this special tradition and always have a great time hanging out! Cheers to family pictures of 2019!
